Dana Graham
Dana brings multiple perspectives to Goshen having spent 19 years in various educational roles. She previously spent 11 years as a classroom teacher, 4 years as a literacy coach, and currently serves as Assistant Principal at Goshen. She has attended the Public Education Business Coalition in Denver, Colorado and the LaKota Institute supporting reading instruction and thinking strategies in the classroom. Throughout her years in education, she was a lab classroom host, and presented at numerous literacy conferences supporting phonics and phonemic awareness in early classroom education, spent time coaching colleagues focusing on classroom instruction, and participated in leadership conferences to enhance school culture.
Prior to starting her career in education, Dana spent 6 years traveling as a full time athletic trainer for the University of Louisville, providing medical assistance to student athletes, and taught the Basic and Advanced Athletic Training Courses at the University of Louisville.
Dana is married to Jack Graham, has two children, Samantha and Jackson, ages 14 and 12. Besides her occupational opportunities, Dana stays busy driving her children to volleyball and basketball practices, reading Hollywood magazines, shopping, and loves spending time at the beach or by the pool.
